Meeting in person
- Always meet for the first time in a public place (café, restaurant, busy park).
- Tell a friend or family member where you are going and when to expect you back.
- Arrange your own transport — do not rely on your date to get you home.
- Stay sober enough to make clear decisions.
Recognise red flags
- Asking for money, gift cards, or financial help — even with a convincing story.
- Refusing video calls or always having technical issues when you ask to see them live.
- Pushing you to move off the platform very quickly.
- Declarations of love unusually fast after first contact.
- Inconsistent stories about their life, job, or location.
Report and block
If someone makes you feel uncomfortable, use the Report button on their profile. You can also Block them to prevent further contact. Our moderation team reviews every report within 24 hours.

Members with a verified badge have completed our identity check. We recommend prioritising conversations with verified members. Verify your own identity →
